Lot of hype tonight about the so-called "supermoon". Yea, I'm in the camp that its kinda super hype. I mean, its cool and all. Or, maybe the operative word is its BRIGHT and all. But, you know...its still the moon.
Nonetheless, I ran out and showed the kids and nabbed this picture of it. The picture doesn't really do it justice. Its definitely a 'had to be there' kinda thing. Really what you witnessed being outside with clear skies was the brightness of it.
And if you are totally clueless about what I'm referring to in this post...well, supposedly the moon is as close to the earth as it ever gets and this only happens every several years or so. If you are more interested in the specifics, you can check out this article here. And I just realized, I've taken more moon pictures in the last month than I care to think about. Weird. Sort of?
