Father's Day!

For Father's Day, nothing big.  We took Brad out to eat at a local mexican restaurant, where he got a free gift!  (the hat)  Otherwise, I think he had a great day!

Easter!

Easter is getting more and more crammed in.  Spring time is just hard for us.  There's softball, there's both kids' birthdays, there's our anniversary, bluebonnet time (which translates to a busy photo season for me as well).  I still try to make Easter super special as I thoroughly enjoy the holiday, but its hard.

Anyway, our church gave us these little Pinterest-y kits to do as a family and I thought it was the cutest thing!  Love it.

Also, at her school, Brenna got to participate in the Kindergarten Easter egg hunt.  Except she didn't want to.  Ugh.  She's the type of kid (is this a 'type'?) that would prefer to not participate in chaotic events.  She didn't even want to participate in her preschool's egg hunt last year where kids were only allowed to get THEIR assigned color egg.  She just does not like the chaos.  Lucky for her she has a couple of pretty cool friends that helped her along to get a few eggs.  :)

Then of course, Easter day, we went to church and participated in the church Easter egg hunt - well, some of 'us'....Brenna again, chose not to.  :(

Then we got back home to find lots of eggs and their nests filled with goodies.  :)

Afterwards, my dad came over and we had a great Easter lunch.

Valentine's pictures and parities

I'm almost caught up with posts now!  Getting there anyway....

Ok.  So I did Valentine's mini shoots again this year with the kissing booth.  After I finished editing everyone else's pictures, I got to my own kids.  Here's their Valentine's pictures from this year:

Meanwhile, on actual Valentine's Day, they had their class parties, complete with ice cream sundaes and lots of treats of course.  Here's some pics from their fun day...
