This past weekend was a busy one for sure. Sunday we went to the annual Christmas parade. Its usually HUGE and takes 2 hrs, but this time they limited the entries and didn't stop for any performances, so it was considerably shorter and much more pleasant. ;) Of course, there was also a slight mist the whole time of the parade so I think a lot of entries dropped out at the last minute, which also probably reduced it some.
Anyways, because of the rain, we went early, got our sweet parking spot and waited in the back of the car...
Here's Brooke writing her letter to Santa before the parade started (the helpers pick up the letters to deliver to Santa and she supposedly will even get a response from the big guy himself!)....
And here's the letter, it says, "Dear Santa...I want a pony for me and Brenna. I want a scooter. I will be good.....I love you Santa...Love Brooke Scott."
And her envelope...
Here's a super cute picture of Brenna waiting. I love her little rosy cheeks and red lips. :-) ....
Brenna marching along with the band (gotta start 'em off young!)...
Watching the band pass us by...
It wasn't too cold, but kinda wet, so if we got out of the car, we had to wear hats to keep our heads dry...
Brenna, on no nap at all, was a very good sport - she really enjoyed it and waved at everyone going by!...
Brooke and Sierra (who got the same sweet parking as we did!) covering their ears as the fire trucks go by...
Poor Brenna can only do the one-handed ear cover... :-( ...
Leaning over to try to see Santa...
Even the babies were trying to get a glimpse!...
And here's Brooke delivering her letter to the helpers (with Santa you can see in the background!) ....
