Christmas Around Our House

Here's some more Christmas pictures...
Yes, the dogs get their own Christmas pictures. This was shortly after the (probable) one and only time that Barkley got groomed as well (bath and brush). Don't they look handsome? :P
And here's proof that Barkley really is so great with kids and puts up with just about anything from them...

Here's Brenna watching a Christmas show, and trying to keep her arm elevated...
Brooke got to get in on the wrapping this year, specifically the presents that she is giving people. This one in this picture happened to be the present she picked out for Brenna...

And Brenna helped deliver presents to the tree as well...

I was proud of this picture! It's like getting FOUR kids to look (and hopefully) smile all at the same time!
Here's the girls after they had each pulled up their own chair to the end table to play with their own little nativity set.
And we LOVE Elf on the Shelf !!! We named him Chris (short for Christmas) and he sits on a shelf at our house. At night, he goes to the North Pole to report to Santa if we've been naughty or nice that day and then returns to a new shelf/spot before we wake up in the morning. Its so fun... BOTH girls are really into it and get up first thing running around trying to find him. Even Brenna! I swear Brooke wakes up at 4 in the morning, goes and finds him, then goes back to bed because sometimes when I have to wake her up for school, she already knows where he is!

On this particular morning, we found him hanging from a hook! They got a big kick out of that!

And I could never get a picture of all our outside decorations, but here's two shots...there's a collection of deer in the back part of the corner side that you can't see. And my favorite is the 'stocking holder' that my sister got for us last year. It has each of our names on the stockings...and soo cute!

And my next favorite is the nativity scene with the "Jesus Lives" sign.
