At the end of the year (even after the recital), Brooke participates in Guild for piano. Its basically a performance in front of a judge, with only her and the judge in the room. She performs 7 songs memorized, has to be able to play all of her 14 scales with cadences, and has to transpose a piece of music to 2 different keys. Its quite a job! Its like the final exam for piano.
Of course she did wonderfully. I listened from outside the door and heard maybe one bobble or two, but overall she got a superior rating.
Later, I had her play all of her stuff at home to document the songs she played. This is that video, which in and of itself was hard to do a continuous stream of all her songs (no break in between)...
