School friends

For Brooke being as shy and quiet as she is, she does very well at making and keeping new friends. She's very well liked by all her peers. And everyone seems to enjoy being around her! I'm so proud of this about her...

Anyway, so new year, new kids - Brooke met a new friend this year and has really hit it off with her. She is still great friends with her old friends, but apparently her and this one are great friends all of the sudden too! And I'm glad. She seems to come from a great family. A family that wouldn't allow 2 piece bathing suits at a swim party - even an all girl swim party! Now that's the kinda parent I'm appreciative of. When I got that invitation, I liked that! :)

After Daddy worked late and showed up late to bible study, Brenna ran up to him, hugged his leg, and said, "Daddy, where have YOU BEEN?!?! I was SOOOO worried about you!" - Brenna (3yrs) 5-17-11

Brooke: "Barbie and Ken both want to marry each other, but they don't know it yet.... (pause).... but then they'll figure it out in the end.... but he may end up picking someone else if she keeps messing around."

Mommy: "Well, I hope not. Barbie and Ken are supposed to be together right?"

Daddy: "Brenna, just say 'no' one time to Barkley."

after Brooke saw Brenna playing with two rubbermaid tub lids, she said, "Hey! I want one of those!!!!" Brenna replied, "well you'll have to wait for Christmas and put it on your list!" - Brenna (2yrs) 12-30-10
