Here's some pics from some of the process..
Then the part with the teacher, my most favorite comment was that Brooke was described as a leader, but a silent hero within her class. She's always there, always doing the right thing and always able to help out and quick to notice and help others. Proud. Of course her reading is off the charts (quite literally)...they don't have a score high enough for her reading level, comprehension, etc... her skills are above average in every subject actually but she struggles with CUA's (district tests). However, all the kids do as the questions are worded weird and don't really test skills (in my opinion). Of course, that's no excuse and she will have to get better at standardized test taking - just the way it is - but we know she knows the stuff. *shrugs* Her teacher has also placed her in the GT program (gifted and talented) so she is no longer required to do some of the 'busy' work that the other kids (that maybe don't have it yet) are doing. She is doing more enrichment type stuff and most recently is being assigned a research project - still to find out more on that.
All in all of course we are overwhelmingly pleased with her academics and behavior at school. She's the kid every teacher wants to have in their class and I couldn't ask for more. :)
