She does very well at piano...I just cannot begin to tell you. She is gearing up for Solo Festival in just a couple of weeks - 2 songs memorized and I think scales?, then Guild in the Spring (where she has to have SEVEN! songs memorized and all 8 scales known plus cadences), and of course the annual recital. She picks things up super quick. The first day after a lesson is always tough, but the rest of the week is smooth sailing. She gets frustrated that first day not being able to play the assigned piece perfectly the first time, so by the second day..when she usually CAN play it well...she's all good. Kid's amazing at the piano I tell you. A-mazing!
