Here's some back to school pics we took -
Brenna, PreK (only one more year till Kindergarten!!!)....
Brooke, 2nd grade....
Their first days of school were a big success. They both woke up pretty easily by 7:00am, got dressed, let me fix their hair, ate a good breakfast and were ready to go timely.
Brooke, of course, didn't even want me to walk her in. I explained to her calmly that if she didn't let me walk her in and take her picture, I would embarrass her much much more than a picture would. ;)
It worked to her benefit that things were hectic and busy and all the other parents did the same, so I scooted out quickly..esp since I still had Brenna in tow.
Then taking Brenna to school, I HAVE to walk her in (sign her in) so I got a few pics of her. At first she didn't want to go into the (what I call) holding room. We got there a couple minutes before 8:30 and apparently they are pretty strict about wanting them there in their classroom not a minute early. So I waited in the hall with her till it was time and watched her go in w her teacher and deliver her teacher gifts.
When I picked her up, she was already in play mode (from her busy day!!) and I 'caught' her playing dress-up with a new friend. :)
She was very excited to show me her work from the day in her very own folder (she was very proud of her "very own folder!")....
After I picked her up, we had a lunch date at Chick Fila so she could tell me about her super fun day and we even took home a brownie for dessert. :)
Can't wait to see how Brooke's day was as well!
