Releasing Ladybugs

Finally talked Brenna into letting her ladybugs go. I thought when they started to mate, it was time to say 'bye-bye'!

The directions said to let them go early morning if you wanted them to stay around your yard. Hence the nightgown and boots attire. Haha!

It was kinda cool to watch. This whole time they just sat around, crawling, etc.. I really doubted they even HAD wings. But the second...and I mean the SECOND we opened the lid outside and they felt the air (I guess??), their wings popped out, they started making their way to the top and away they all went, one by one..

Yea. That's our crazy garden growing out of control. (which is good, I know!) Brenna, saying her last goodbyes..... :)

Daddy: "Brenna, just say 'no' one time to Barkley."

after Brooke saw Brenna playing with two rubbermaid tub lids, she said, "Hey! I want one of those!!!!" Brenna replied, "well you'll have to wait for Christmas and put it on your list!" - Brenna (2yrs) 12-30-10
