Mother's Day

Ok. Mother's Day was today right? But yea...I took the day off. No cute pictures. No great meaningful blog post. Nothing. My husband took me shopping! I got gift cards for pedicures (3 of them! :) and some nice potted flowers the girls picked out. We also got to go out to eat sans kiddos the night before to my new favorite restaurant, Chuy's! Love me some creamy jalapeno sauce! :)

But I did want to take the opportunity to wish every mother out there a Happy Mother's Day! I hope your day was fabulous and nice and relaxing. :)

After Daddy worked late and showed up late to bible study, Brenna ran up to him, hugged his leg, and said, "Daddy, where have YOU BEEN?!?! I was SOOOO worried about you!" - Brenna (3yrs) 5-17-11

Brooke: "Barbie and Ken both want to marry each other, but they don't know it yet.... (pause).... but then they'll figure it out in the end.... but he may end up picking someone else if she keeps messing around."

Mommy: "Well, I hope not. Barbie and Ken are supposed to be together right?"

after Brooke saw Brenna playing with two rubbermaid tub lids, she said, "Hey! I want one of those!!!!" Brenna replied, "well you'll have to wait for Christmas and put it on your list!" - Brenna (2yrs) 12-30-10

Mommy: "Pizza Hut."
