Toy Story Party!

So, today was Brenna's birthday party day. She wanted a Toy Story party (duh.), which is sooo fun and easy to plan. There are hundreds of ideas for a TS party. From decorations to games to food ideas and more. So I had a lot of fun planning this one!

I'll start with a copy of her invitation that I did (cute, eh?) with details blotted out of course.

I found these online to print out that were replica drawings of Andy's drawings in the movie.

We had 4 games planned.

The Claw game - where the kids had to pick up army men from the pool of water using salad tongs...

The Snake in My Boot game - where the kids had to throw a snake in the boot...

Pin the Tail on Bullseye (self-explanatory)....

And the last game was the first we started with to get the kids going. Daddy played the part of Andy, the kids were "toys" that had to be still/frozen when Andy was looking. When he turned his back, they tried to creep up on him.

After each game, the kids got to pick out a Toy Story related prize to go along with these already prepared favored boxes. I wrote their names on them..."Grace's toys", just as in the movie...the box that Andy had for his box of toys. :)

We had pizza, supposedly from Pizza Planet (I have no idea why it says Little Caesars on the box? :P )

And the cake was AWESOME! I hated to even cut it..it was so super cute!

Brenna got lots of nice presents....

And still she probably had the most fun when she found a pill bug... :P

And just running around...

After the party and naps, PaPoo came for a visit and Brenna got more presents! A nice Rapunzel blanket and Toy Story cars! (Hot Wheels)

Here she is helping Brad find one that rolled under the stove.

I think she had a lot of fun and I hope the other kids did too! But I'm glad we don't have to do that for another year! :)
