Craft Day

I'm not much of a crafty person. Some people disagree...but I swear, I'm really not. I can do little things, but beyond that, forget it. But Brooke got a lot of the craft kits for her birthday, so this morning, I set up a table outside covered with newspaper, covered the girls in old shirts, and went through them one by one.

First up was painting wind chimes. Lucky, there were 2 in there, so both girls got to do one. Easy Peasy!

Brenna was sooo serious about it...LOL

Next up, was creating stepping stone molds. You know, the ones you can put the handprints in or whatever. Well the only picture I got was Brooke getting prepped. It was a little messier so the camera stayed in the house. Here's Brooke wanting to wear her gloves and mask. :)

Brenna will get to do one of those too, but only after the first one dries (it's supposed to dry overnight). Only one mold was given, but with enough to make two stones.

Then, we went inside and did the not-so-messy stuff (but still no pictures...sorry). They got to make bracelets, which Brooke LOVES! They ran out of the beads at school and no more will be purchased since the school's closing..and Brooke has really been missing being able to make bracelets! :)

Anyway, here are the finished wind chimes, Brooke's and Brenna's, respectively, hanging to dry

And get this! I got out of all these crafts without a single drop of paint or mess on any part of me, the girls, or our clothes! Please hold your applause. :)
