Our close friends very recently had their baby. I was fortunate enough to get to be a part of the birth, in taking pictures for the mom. It was amazing and I feel so lucky to have gotten to be there. But in so having this baby, they are now forced to travel back up north (waaaaaaay North!) to head home. So, we were forced to say 'goodbye' again. :(
Their oldest daughter is one of two of Brooke's closest longest dearest friends. And as I said before, Brooke doesn't make friends too easily. And the other friend is moving way North in a few more weeks. :( So poor Brooke is losing her two only BFF's within a matter of weeks of each other. I know she'll be ok, but right now, she is very sad. I hope soon she'll be able to branch out and meet and make some new good friends. In the meantime, we had an impromptu playdate/pizza night a few nights before this friend left.
Here they are playing dressup, dancing around, and practicing for their show they would put on later for us. ;)
Then they played some limbo.
Here's Brenna's way to limbo...
And here's Brenna pouting..."well, fine. If THAT's the way you want to do it...hmph."..
Ok, she wasn't really pouting. But that's what that picture looks like to me. She was really just sitting out, waiting for her turn again. But anyway, after the big girls moved on from the limbo, she decides she'll use that limbo stick as a microphone! Haha.
Then, the girls got a chance to hold the new baby. Brenna was really obsessed with her, wanting to hold her the whole time, wanting another turn, etc etc..
Brooke really enjoyed it too, though she didn't want to admit it. Since, she has been playing with a baby doll that she tells me she pretends is baby Secora. :)
Then, the following day, they had another pizza/goodbye party for Sierra and Sedona. So, the girls got to say one last 'goodbye' (though, they might actually get to see each other one last time on the family's trip back through our area before actually leaving the state for their home..we'll see.)
Hugs all around...
The girls plotting?
And the fabulous foursome! We'll miss you friends! :(
