We started on the weekend of July 4th, painting our bedroom. We've lived at our house for 6 years and finally have got around to painting OUR bedroom. It wasn't "just" a matter of repainting. We had to repair several holes/cracks, clean, and organize. The painting was the easy part! ;)
Anyways, here's the before and after pictures. I apologize for the "before" pictures. I promise we normally don't live/sleep in that chaos. But we had already started moving stuff around and painting when I stopped and realized, 'hey, I gotta take some before pictures!' So there ya go...

I think it turned out well. I mean, heck.. anything was better than what was, right?! I wished it was a little lighter shade, but there honestly wasn't a lighter shade that didn't look too pastel in the brand paint we wanted. (oh, yea, Brad had to go research Consumer Reports and find the best rated paint on the market. :)
I still REALLY wanna re-do our bathroom and eventually paint the panelling in the living room to brighten it up. But paint is expensive! So, maybe after the next garage sale. ;)

I love it! That's the color we had in our old living room, and I loved how bright it made everything. (We had green taupe couches that didn't make the move with us.) :P
So, when is your next garage sale?!? I have some stuff I'd love for you to have/sell! It's not enough to make a garage sale for me, but I don't want to just throw it away, you know?
PS - I have TONS of leftover paint. I know you read my blog, so if you see a color you like, seriously let me know and you can have whatever I have left. You have to come by and see all the colors!
Jenna...not sure about the next garage sale. We just got over having 2 back to back. So probably not anytime soon. ;)
And yea, I've been seeing all your re-do's and they look great! I just can't decide on what color I wanna do our bathroom. Nothing sounds good, ya know? Hmm..
