Potty Talk

I have no idea who taught this kid how to use the potty. I mean, for real. What is she doing? But....I only even post because it is becoming so much more frequent! I am really not into potty training her yet, thinking we'd wait till after her bday, this Spring (less clothes, etc) but here she is...going potty. Often.

We have done nothing as far as 'training' goes. I promise. We put the little potty in the bathroom and she would go in with Brooke every time Brooke would go to the potty. You know how us girls are...we like to go to the restroom in groups. LOL Anyway, next thing we knew she was asking to go potty. Saying "Poop??"...."Potty???"... So what I am supposed to do? Tell her no? Well, of course not. So I took her in there, take her diaper off and lo and behold, she goes! First time, I thought was a fluke. But we gave her a couple of M&M's anyway. Next time, maybe a fluke? Now, she tells me about 1/2 the time right as she's going or right before. So she doesn't make it all the time, but we've seen her both poop and pee in the potty...on more than a few occasions. In fact, just today - in one day - she went poop once in the potty and pee twice in the potty. She now knows how exciting it is. Of course we make a HUGE deal of out it, she gets M&M's every time she goes and that in itself is pretty cool in her mind! Its so cute to her hear say M&M immediately after the pee or poop leaves her body. You can tell what she's in it for!

Guess I won't complain..I just find it very strange. We'll see I guess... I'm still in no hurry and not pushing anything, but if she insists on going potty, well...I'm not going to stop her!

A couple of other random pictures. Brooke has been dying for me to take out my clarinet and play some..since they are now studying woodwind instruments at Kindermusik. She thinks its pretty cool that her mom can play clarinet. Yea..she thinks its cool right now. ;)
