Sunday, we had our second family Christmas of the season. This was with the McHam side of the family. It was definitely down-sized compared to years past, but still a full house!
First, lunch at the Country Club, thanks to Muna! (thank you Muna!) It was delicious, of course! Here's a picture of our table (normally we have a whole room...just a rather large tablet this year ;-)....
And I had to show ya'll a picture of the most humongous shrimp I've ever seen! They were equally as yummy! (for comparison, note the cracker and devilled egg on the side of the plate)...
Brooke, thinking she's so big drinking out of the "fancy" adult glass...
The 'babies' of the clan, Jayden and Brenna who are only 2 months apart(though Jayden's sister was there and definitely the youngest, at 11 days old...so sweet)...These two have been deemed "the big kids"...scary isn't it? Brooke and Chad...best of friends...
And all the kids that were there (minus the tiny baby, Kenley)...Alli, Brooke, Cami, Chad, Brenna, and Jayden
Sisters...
Then we met back up at Meridon's house for the adult's White Elephant/Chinese Christmas/Tree Gift gift exchange. For comparison, in years before there have been upwards of 35-40 numbers in the game (and remember that's not including kids!). This year it was a "measly" 18. :-)
Brenna was such a trooper, getting only a 15-20 min nap, but she was oh-soooo-sleepy...
While the big kids were playing in a back room with a new game...And who could celebrate Christmas without some delicious egg nog? My kids are definitely fans of it and here's Brenna's egg nog face to prove it. :-) She even says "egg nog".
Anyways, we all had a great time. It was definitely not as loud or crazy and we missed all the out-of-staters, but it was nice to get together and eat, visit, and play!
