Christmas #1 - Shannon's

Yesterday, we went to our first family Christmas celebration of the season. We drove up to my sister's for a full turkey and ham dinner and lots of gift exchanging!

Here's Brad, who has become known around our parts as the expert turkey carver. He does a great job and is now always 'stuck' with the job. :-)
Brenna warmed up nicely with all the dogs to play with...
After dinner and a movie, we got to the presents! Brooke and Brenna are so sweet with each other. When a present was addressed to both of them, they both equally shared the opening too. Brooke was so sweet to give Brenna turns, etc. Such sweet sisters...
Cute matching outfits! And Brenna LOVED the sunglasses!

It didn't take long for Brenna to know this year how to open a present!

Here's Shannon getting all her PINK gifts this year. This was such a fun collection of gifts for me to put together!

And probably Brooke's favorite gift,....ugh. Hannah Montana stuff. Ay yi yi....

And here's Brenna's favorite gift (well, next to the sunglasses anyway). She LOVES this cow!
Telling Shannon "thank you" for the cow...
Shannon getting her favorite gift, the photo calendar we do every year. Gosh...these people have come to expect this gift now!
The girls also got this neat child-size card table and chairs that you can write on (and erase) with dry erase markers. So neat! Here they are with Kelli Michele and Micah coloring away!...
Afterwards, naptime was long overdue and crankiness was setting in, so we packed up our goodies and travelled home. It was a fun time for everybody and we're so thankful for each and every one of our special gifts, and of course the family time and the delicious dinner too!

It didn't take long...5 minutes MAYBE?....for Brenna to be out like a light in the car. She thankfully slept all the way home. Nice.
And Brooke got to watch her new Tinkerbell movie she got!

As we got home, we unloaded and the girls were excited to wear their new Christmas Princess PJ's they got, so we had to pose for a quick picture!
Thanks to Shannon and family from the B's! We had a great time and love you all!

And to end, on a funny note, here's where our elf showed up yesterday morning. Silly elf. :-)
