I mentioned we got a new dining table. Here's our old one, from IKEA...And here's our upgraded traded in model... Much larger surface, but still fits in our dining area. Seats 6 but has a leaf to seat 8 (we have 8 matching chairs) and an add'l leaf to seat even more!I also must've mentioned our outdoor patio set getting destroyed in a bad storm a while back. The winds were phenomenal and picked up our glass-top patio table (complete with umbrella - that was really cool by the way!) and threw it up off the deck into our yard. The glass shattered in a million pieces. The table frame was kinda bent and the umbrella was destroyed. I'm still sad about it. I loved our table and the umbrella would tilt diff directions and had cool solar lighting and everything. :( Here's the remnants...But once again, we traded up and got this from Sammy! Its another glass top table with chairs to match and the gazebo! How awesome! I still miss our patio furniture (it really matched a lot better) but am glad we were able to replace it for no cost. And isnt' the gazebo cool? I think we will probably paint the chairs and table legs to match the gazebo (a darker bronze, rather than the current white), but its great to have! We love eating outside and enjoying our backyard! So, over the weekend, my dad came up. He took our old table. It's a perfect fit for him and his house! I'm so glad its going to someone that'll use it instead of selling it for a measly $10 or something at a garage sale. Plus, he helps us out so much, I'm glad to finally give SOMETHING back. (even though it slims in comparison) He also brought us a adirondack chair that he made! Yes, he made this himself, from scratch! How good is he?!?! So that's all the new improvements for now. We have been cleaning out some more stuff and will probably have another garage sale soon. Otherwise, enjoy some more pics...
Here's Brenna with PaPoo (she loves to say his name now and its so cute. I actually have her saying his name as my ringer for him on my phone!)...
Here's our own baby dancing video...(you've seen the thousands going around on the web right now)... Brenna does a pretty good job at mimicking what's being said in the song. It starts off with the 'playing your sticks' song, which she LOVES and then the marching song where you're supposed to march, wave, jump, tiptoe, and march again. She does pretty well! This is Brooke's Kindermusik CD and Brenna likes it much better than her own...of course. :P
