Some out-of-state family came in and we hooked up and went swimming with them for lots of fun. Brenna loves loves loves the water. You put her under and she signs for "more". You throw her up (and into the water) she signs "more". You put her on the side of the pool and she'll 'jump' (kinda leaning fall) into the water. Who cares if anyone's there to catch her? Anyway, we love getting a chance to go swimming! Here's a pic of all the cuz's that were there... 
Then, because Brooke tells me its too hot to jump on the trampoline (and really, it is), I had the brilliant idea to hook up a sprinkler next to it! She had a BLAST! Thought it was the most fun thing ever. And I felt better for my poor grass too.
Meanwhile, we let Brenna have fun in the kiddie pool (Brooke joined her later too)
Did I mention how much she LOVES the water? She loves getting in, getting out, splashing, going under, getting splashed, you name it. She loves it.
And Barkley loves it when we fill the pool up too. Isn't this picture the cutest?!
Of course, he didn't know what was coming after the girls got out of the pool. Or, maybe he did. Looks like he is enjoying it doesn't it?
And just a random pic of the dog - because he's so pretty...isn't he? He's a good looking dog. (isn't he? Or am I just biased?) 
He's about 6 mos now. I don't think he'll get too much bigger, but we'll see I guess.
And have I mentioned how Brenna is into EVERYTHING?! She climbs up everything! We're about to have to lower her crib mattress again I believe b/c I have a hunch she'll be climbing out that before long! Here she is climbing up the two-step stool to try to climb up on the kitchen counter. Yes, I am not kidding. She tries to get up on the kitchen counter!!! Luckily, she's still slower than me, so I can get to her in time. Thankfully, getting onto the counter is a several-step process for her. ;)
And why go up the stairs to go down the slide? She just climbs UP the slide. 
And she recently discovered how much fun it is to play in Barkley's kennel. This photo was from a rare moment where she just went in. Most of the time, she goes in and shuts the cage door on herself. Ay yi yi....
But she's still our sweet little girl.
And it's moments like these below that we remember how angelic she is...
