It's that time of year! Hot hot weather and water sprinklers and swimming pools. Yesterday we pulled out the swimming pool and cleaned it off and filled it up for the girls to play. They both had a blast!
Brenna spent a her time either crawling around trying to drink the water or pulling up to the side to try to coax Barkely to get in. I was trying to un-coax him (I know he was thinking about it!).
Two against one.
The she decided to crawl/climb out of the pool. And then wanted back in.
Please??? Please can I get back in???? Notice the technique. The kiss distraction while she lifts her left foot to try to crawl over while everyone's distracted.
So Brooke filled a bucket of water for her to play with on the outside. Hmmm....see anything wrong with this picture?
And here she is on the drying chair, which she also climbed up onto by herself. We are really going to have to watch this one!
And just some other random shots. Brenna having fun on her new ride-on lion she got for her bday. Though she does need a little help to make it go - she's still just a little too short to reach the floor with her feet.

And lately we've been toying with the idea of tossing the morning nap. Problem is - if she takes a morning nap, she doesn't nap well in the afternoon. Which I REALLY need her to nap good in the afternoon. But if she doesn't take a morning nap, then come "that time", she gets sooooo sleepy and just conks out anywhere even if only for 15-20 min. As seen in picture below. :-)
