The Great Outdoors

Two days ago, I woke up to 29 degrees outside...good thing we covered our garden (just in case!) and today I think the high was near or at 80. So, any time we have such beautiful weather, we eat it up and enjoy eating outside! I grabbed my camera this time and got some cute shots of Brenna, mainly. And I posted so many only because I find it so wierd that in these pictures (in outdoor natural lighting) her hair is blonde blonde blonde! But you have seen in pics before how it sometimes takes a red tone to it. So who knows what color hair she'll end up with?!

She loves it outside too and here I caught her squealing at the birds on the ground (we finally filled up the feeders to get them to come around and boy have they been coming around!)... She LOVES wind in her face...
And my cutie pie...

And so Brooke doesn't feel left out of this post completely...
Other news on the homefront, Brad is feeling much better lately and is finishing up the last of his antibiotics. I, however, haven't done as great. I ended up going BACK to the doctor yesterday b/c the pain in my throat is keeping me from eating and drinking. They tested me for strep, which I do not have, but said that I have tonsilitis and my tonsils are "extremely" red, swollen, and inflamed and have white patches all over them. So, they gave me an antibiotic shot there in the office (yeowch!) and some pain medicine to take before I try to eat or sleep (did you know you swallow involuntary/subconsciously?...it kept waking me up it was so painful). And I am to keep taking the previously prescribed antibiotics. So that's where I stand. Not any better yet, but I keep saying....maybe tomorrow????

Sometimes the rapid strep test comes back as negative but the 24 hour test comes back as positive - did they take 2 swabs of your throat?? The white patches & painful swallowing sounds JUST LIKE STREP to me!!! Hope you're feeling better soon!!! PS - LOVE the wind in the hair shots - so cute!!!
