Below are some pics of some of Brooke's "work" from school. The first two are from their 'craft day' (notice the crafts correspond to the month - Valentine's Day)
And then the next two are examples of worksheets she brings home every day. Kinda hard to see, but in the first pic, the bottom page has a word written on it. Like..."butterfly", then she had to read the word, find the picture of the butterfly (on another separate sheet), cut it out and glue it to the written word (oh..and color it in).
Again, this is very faint, but she had to write the word (all of these happen to be the O sound), then color in the picture of the word she wrote...
And this is her bookmark from finishing her book at school. Each kid has a book that they read to Ms Lydia almost every day. Where-ever they leave off on that day, she notes it on their individual bookmark. Like... it'll say Pg 47-2/19/09. So each day she can pull out their bookmark and see where they left off. Well, when they completely finish the book, she gives them the bookmark to take home! And then the next day they will start on a the next level book. So, here is Brooke with her newly finished bookmark from the past month...
