Picture Pages

In turn for ragging on my daughter a little bit (ok, a lot) in my last post, I thought I would dedicate this post to pictures of the most beautiful girls in the world. But first, I would like to say that the last couple of days have been better (thanks to all who have asked) and today was especially remarkable ever since we established a new "code word" routine with Brooke. :) She now has a code word to use when she starts to get upset and vice versa we have a code word we use with her when we notice her behavior getting a little out of hand to remind her how to act appropriately. So far, so good.

And thanks to Jenny for reminding me with all-too-perfect timing of the ever important message that it's better to be a good enough parenter rather than always trying to be a perfect parent. Because of this message today, I was totally ok with Brooke putting her pants on backwards...because she got dressed all by herself with no complaining and no use of the code word. Yes, Brad, I WAS totally ok with her having her pants on backwards all day today. Aren't you proud?

Enough rambling for now...enjoy the newest pictures of the two most beautiful girls in the world. :)

Sleeping angels...The weather here has been BEAUTIFUL, so we've been enjoying some much needed outside playtime!...

Brandy,
Just love the story of the splinter. I can remember 2 years of Nicole not going to bed at a timely hour and the screaming fit I (yes me) had with her. And she just sat there and ignored me. And of course it mad me madder. She never got any better. So I had to learn after many years after it was too late, what to fight about and what not to fight with her about. Oh, by the way did I mentiont that she was 16 years old at the time when this started. I should have known better. That is the joys of the first child. They get to be the gennie pig on what works and what will not work. By the time Darren got here I was better, so God gave me the best boy ever, he never got into trouble. And Patricia only got into really big touble just once.

But just to say you have the best looking little girls I have ever seen and love to see the photos of your Dad with them. Just too precious.

Love Donna May
