Interview with a 3yr old

I stole this idea off a friend of mine's blog. Hope that friend doesn't mind.. ;) ...cuz I thought it was a great idea to document some of Brooke's favorite things in her life right now. So here goes, I took a pen and paper and interviewed her on her favorite things...

Bedtime Song (she wanted to add this one) - You Are My Sunshine
Thing that makes me sad - when I get in trouble and have to go to timeout
Thing that makes me happy - when Mommy makes me laugh

The other day she had a funny one - Brad said something sarcastic, which she is starting to get now and she sighed, shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes, and said, "Ay yi yi....Daddy. You remind me of you."

And not to be outdone, Brenna cannot really speak for herself, so I will list some of her favorite things these days...

- Dropping things off the changing table (it's now a game, you hand her something and she will take it and drop it, hand it back to her, she drops it, over and over and over
-Books (she gets so excited if you ask her if she wants to read a book)
-Fruits (as opposed to veggies and meats)
-plastic spoons
-ceiling fans
-Playing with peoples' nose, mouths, and hair
-Jewerly, specifically necklaces and watches
-watching the fire in the fireplace
-Bailey (our dog)
-Brooke's silly faces
-being fanned in the face (feeling the air on her face)
-gurgling
-snack: Cheerio's
-food: pears
-toy: drum or brown stuffed bear
-game: "get her" (she 'chases' other people)
-or the game of trying to put her pacifier in MY mouth
-or the "Here Comes the Elephant" game (song and game made up by yours truly)
-smiling and squealing

And because I was in the picture-taking mood again....here's the aforementioned "playing in Brenna's crib" that happens pretty much every day after naptime...And trying to get them to pose for a picture in their cute little outfits...always playing around...And Brenna in a box (while we were boxing up Christmas decorations) and she actually enjoyed playing in a box...go figure!...And to end on a totally random note.... Brad brought this home from work today. It's a real (toy) matchbox car designed specifically after our county's sheriff's dept cars. They are actually for sale on the shelf at your local toy store. Cool, huh?

ok, where do you find clothes that match them in infant and toddler sizes??? I'm always so jealous to see them looking so cute together!
