Costume Parade

It occured to me that I just haven't been blogging long enough. As in, you, as a reader may have never seen our previous Halloween costumes. And that is a shame. So I decided to go back and give you a costume parade of our previous Halloweens together. I love going with a theme, though it is getting harder - again as the more people you add into the mix and the more opinionated they get. ;-)

I am most proud of our first year...The Flintstones. I still LOVE these costumes and even thought of doing it with Brenna this year, but Brad couldn't find them and it would've left Brooke out. But I did seriously consider it. That's how much I LOVED this...Then, the next year, we went as Adam and Eve....and Brooke was our apple. :-) I thought it was pretty good, but we didn't get near the response we thought we would. LOLAnd last year, because of all the grief we got the year before and because I was pregnant, Brooke went solo as Cinderella... And finally, this year, Brooke has been so into the Wizard of Oz. So, this was an easy one. We went as the crew from the Wizard of Oz.

Dorothy, The Scarecrow, The Wicked Witch and Glinda the Good Witch...My costume was much more realistic I assure you before we left the house. I was completely green with some black accents, had a fake witch's nose..the whole nine yards. But I had to strip it all off cuz Brooke was scared out of her mind (and that's putting it mildly). It still took a lot of persuading for her to even let me put the hat and hair on. And she still stayed away from me the whole day. But it works. I think Brad made a GREAT scarecrow. And Dorothy and Glinda were too cute!So, Happy Halloween everyone! Hope you get lots of treats and not too many tricks!
