Christmas - Part Three

So, after a lazy day around the house, this afternoon we went over to Brad's mother's (Sandie) for his immediate family Christmas dinner/gift exchange. We got there late afternoon and exchanged gifts, then ate an early dinner of a yummy honey-baked ham, sweet potatoes, apples, mashed potatoes, and apple pie for dessert. It was all soooo good. Brooke enjoyed the cinnamon apples the best though ;) . She got a ton of nice gifts from Sammy, Muna, Tara and Brid. Then we left there and went to a candlelight Christmas Eve service at church. Once we got home from that, Brooke helped leave out cookies and water for Santa (her insistance) and goldfish for the reindeer. :) Then off to bed to await Santa's arrival....

Then, the family seated around the table for dinner. Working clockwise, you see Brid's back, Tara next to him, then Muna, Sandie, me, and Brooke (Brad was taking the picture)...

After we get home from church, Brooke starts making a plate for Santa - they had to be "Christmas Tree cookies"...

Setting the plate on the fireplace so Santa is sure to see it...

Getting a glass of water for Santa (she insisted on water, not milk - go figure.)...

And goldfish for the reindeer...

Now, we wait for Santa...
