Today we did an 'outside project' complete with digging up plants, trimming bushes, evening the ground out, pulling weeds, laying brick down, etc. So Brooke was a big helper. She loves to go outside and we spend a lot of time outside, between the bouts with mosquitos and hot Texas weather anyway. But she especially loves to help Daddy work! So, we let her come out and help dig. Problem was she starting getting in the way, so we set her to the side and let her dig on her own pile. She got pretty dirty - well, for a girl anyway. Notice the mound of dirt on her skirt, the black in her hair and the new color of her skin on her hands and legs (black!). Anyway, she had a lot of fun and was amused for a good 30 minutes, so hey, who cares?

Who says a girl can't get dirty?
