A quick funny story....so ya'll know how we have a little Johnny Cash fan right? She will recognize his songs, his face, anything. And trust me, we are not promoting him or anything. So this last month while Kindermusik has been out, we have been rotating Disc 6 in our CD player. Well, tonight we decided to put her favorite singer in again (she hasn't really listened to it in months!) and she got so excited. When we got to song number 14, all of the sudden, we heard a tiny little voice in the backseat singing along. Yes, she now knows all the words and can sing along to 'Ring of Fire'. My are we proud!
Here's her version (about 1/2 second behind realtime):
"I fell in to a burn ring of fire
Went down down down
and it burnin higher
And it burn burn burn
ring of fire ring of fire"
and she tries to sing the other parts too (not the chorus), but only catches every other word or so.
Can you imagine how proud we are? I really am not sure if this is cute, funny, or embarrassing? But then again, on the other hand, Brad says maybe we have the next LeAnn Rimes! LOL
