Bitsy

Brooke made straight A's the first 6 weeks, the second six weeks, then she made one B the 3rd six weeks (timing for that was right around our Disney vacation....coincidence?).  Anyway, so after that B, I told her in passing and off the cuff, if she made all A's the rest of the year I would get her a hamster (something she had been asking for....again), despite whatever Daddy said (he was dead against it...again).

Well she made me live up to it, holding her grades to all A's the rest of the year.  I found a cage and ALL accessories (like a LOT of stuff!) for sale on a FB group for $25.  Had cage, wheel, water, bedding, food, food bowl, cage liners, hideaway place, playpen even!, and a hamster leash.  Crazy.  So I snatched it up.  All we had to do was add the hamster.  So shortly after school was out, we went and picked out the hamster.  In keeping with the "B" theme of our family.....meet Bitsy!

Brooke is older this time around and is doing better about handling her so hopefully she'll be tamer than the last.  We'll see...
