Animal Day at the Library

Every summer our local libraries put on free 'events' for the kids. One of our favorites is animal day. This year we took our friends who would be moving out of state (boo!) a few short days later. It was nice to get some quality time in before they moved.

Brenna was so excited to see the police dog demonstration. Not every one got pictures with the dog, but because this guy realized her new obsession quickly, he let her get a quick picture and even took her back to their van, showed her where the dog rode, all the dog's equipment, his bullet proof vest and everything. Really cool! And if you knew how much this girl is into police dogs now..... :-D

Afterwards we went back home and went swimming for a chance to cool off!

And the oldest girl got to spend the night with Brooke before she left town for good. She'll miss these sweet girls!
