So as the weeks of summer dwindled down, we tried to soak up every bit of summer we could before my babies left me for school (BOTH of them! :( )
We got snow cones on hot days...
We had friends over and played Pirates (the girls have been watching Pirates of the Carribean lately)...
We've done kids bowl free several times this year!
We've been working on and completing house projects (more on that later) and the girls have enjoyed cleaning house (yes, for real)....
Playing softball (lots of softball...more on that later too)....
Been to a few birthday parties here and there....
And we've been swimming, of course. A LOT!
Enjoying the outdoors! Sure, it may be hot...but we've spent a lot of time outside!!!
And we just had fun hanging out (and for the record, this next picture is one of my favorites!)...
For whatever reason this summer the girls have been getting along sooo well! Not sure if its the fact that they are getting older and enjoying each other more? Or maybe its the pool? And having something 'fun' to do alllll the time. Or maybe that Brenna is starting Kindergarten soon and they both just feel closer to each other? I don't know. I'm not trying to figure it out. Just enjoying it! Before summer ends......
