Differences....

My girls enjoy each other. They really do. Sure, they fight and get grumpy with each other. But when no friends are around (read: no one to show off in front of) and they have each other, they love each other.

That being said...they are so different! One instance - we go to the library. Brooke picks out novels. Little ones from Babysitter's Club (so fun that she's reading all my old books!) and Goosebumps to big huge ones like Harry Potter. She can stay in the fiction section for-ever! eyeing new books and series, etc...

Brenna, on the other hand, picks out a few before realizing...there's a MUCH cooler section. Its called nonfiction. When she 'discovered' the nonfiction section, she wanted every single book. We come home with books about bugs, crocodiles, dogs, cats, whatever.... such differences.

Her latest trip to the library, Brenna picked out a book about Golden Retrievers. She brought him and let Barkley 'read' it. Propped him up w a pillow and everything. ;)

He must've not been reading fast enough so she went to help him along....

Brooke: "Barbie and Ken both want to marry each other, but they don't know it yet.... (pause).... but then they'll figure it out in the end.... but he may end up picking someone else if she keeps messing around."

Mommy: "Well, I hope not. Barbie and Ken are supposed to be together right?"

As Brooke was going potty, Brenna yells out from the living room: "I better hear some flushing in there missy!" - Brenna (2 yr) 4-3-11

Brenna: "No Barkley, No Barkley, No, No, No Barkley!"

Daddy: "Brenna, just say 'no' one time to Barkley."

Mommy: "Brenna, what do you need Barkley's help to do?"
