So one Saturday we were out running errands. We were coming home a different way (well, actually we were headed to eat lunch at Dairy Queen) and Brooke recognized it as being close to "her old school" - Montessori School. She begged to go by there 'just to see it'. Which is kind of weird for her to do. She's not the real sentimental type. So we obliged...just drive by right? Well, next thing I know, Brad is turning in the parking lot! Which isn't that crazy...except there was a car in the drive (and I was worried it was the new school people and didn't want to particularly see). I start telling him, "Brad!!! There's a car here! Don't pull in!" About that time, someone walks out the front door. But its none other than our beloved old teacher, Ms Lydia!!!!
How random and totally coincidental right???? So of course, we stopped, got out and talked and visited. The girls wandered around, hugged Ms Lydia, etc etc etc.. I know, I should've gotten a picture or something right? Well, all I could manage... as we were talking, I mentioned, "I wonder whatever happened to Nutsy? The "pet" squirrel that used to come around when they kids were there. He would pretty much eat out of your hand he was so tame!" Well, lo and behold, just before we left, look who came to visit... (so the one and only picture I got)... Nutsy!!!
