Brooke had her piano recital this past weekend. She played her staple - "Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee" and played it wonderfully. She's still one of the youngest in the recital. But she plays the best. ;)

The year in piano is not over yet. In just a couple of weeks she has Guild...the yearly...eh, "competition"??? for lack of a better word?....where she plays 7 (memorized) songs for a judge and gets scored. Also has to transpose one piece of music to two different keys and know all of the major scales (to be played on demand as requested by the judge) as well as a couple of minor scales because of the pieces she is playing. Whew! Lot of work. But she's got it down. I'm working on putting a video together of all her songs. Stay tuned....
