It's a Jungle Out There!

Brooke had her annual program at school last week, singing, dancing, lines...etc. We've heard about it for weeks, knew all her lines and all the songs and finally got to see the whole thing. It was pretty cute. The title was "It's A Jungle Out There!", Brooke was supposed to be a monkey, but had zero desire to 'dress up', so she wore a brown shirt to do her part. Haha. Anyway, here's some still pics taken at the first performance...

And video taken from the second performance...(I just video'd a few of the songs, not her lines or the other 'animals' songs.. ;), though they were VERY cute too )...

Thinking Brenna was pretending to have mouthwash in her mouth, just KNOWING it was full of air, I squeezed her cheeks. After Daddy worked late and showed up late to bible study, Brenna ran up to him, hugged his leg, and said, "Daddy, where have YOU BEEN?!?! I was SOOOO worried about you!" - Brenna (3yrs) 5-17-11

After getting a "Ken" doll for her bday...

Brooke: "Barbie and Ken both want to marry each other, but they don't know it yet.... (pause).... but then they'll figure it out in the end.... but he may end up picking someone else if she keeps messing around."

Mommy: "Well, I hope not. Barbie and Ken are supposed to be together right?"

As Brooke was going potty, Brenna yells out from the living room: "I better hear some flushing in there missy!" - Brenna (2 yr) 4-3-11

Brenna: "No Barkley, No Barkley, No, No, No Barkley!"

Daddy: "Brenna, just say 'no' one time to Barkley."

Brenna: "No one time, Barkley! No one time, Barkley!..." - Brenna (2yr) 4-3-11

Mommy: "Brenna, what do you need Barkley's help to do?"

after Brooke saw Brenna playing with two rubbermaid tub lids, she said, "Hey! I want one of those!!!!" Brenna replied, "well you'll have to wait for Christmas and put it on your list!" - Brenna (2yrs) 12-30-10

Mommy: "Pizza Hut."
