Monday Montage

Brooke had Hymn Festival last week (we are still waiting to get her scores) and I wanted to document the songs she played for it.  She really plays so beautifully and it really seems to come naturally to her.  She doesn't have to work hard for this to come at all.    In fact, she recently rec'd her report back and she got a superior rating for her performance (the highest you can get).

She sightreads well and can pick up a new song in just a day or two at most of practicing.  I'm in awe.

Anyway, she played "Holy Holy Holy" and "Joy to the World"

First up, "Holy Holy Holy"...

And she didn't play this one at Hymn Fest but I wanted to include it. This was kind of a hard one (lots of hand switching) that her teacher was amazed she learned so quickly! It might end up being a Guild piece. ;)

 


And to include a super cute video of Brenna as well,....  here she is singing a cute little song she learned at school.  WHich is so appropriate for her because she LOVES finding/collecting/sorting acorns.  LOL
