There's a new place in town, Painting w a Twist. Basically you go in, a professional artist/instructor teaches the group how to paint a pre-selected painting. You get to bring in your own "snacks" and/or "beverages". So its a fun night out too!
Brooke's school did a profit share one night there so I signed up with some of my favorite mom friends from school. It really was a lot of fun! I didn't suck quite as bad as I thought I would... I only wish we had gotten a better painting choice. A lot of the paintings they do are REALLY good. And when I saw what we were doing...welllll....I was less than impressed. But oh well. For a cause, right? So all things considered I guess mine turned out ok. I'll be auctioning it off to the highest bidder. ;P
Painting... (and seriously! Notice the paintings above my head?? Pretty cool, eh? Yea...ours wasn't as great. OH well.)
