I love back to school shopping. I know. Call me weird. But I love school supplies, I love sales, I love the smell of new pencils and crayons. Ahhh...
(hmm.. ----pause ----- maybe I am destined to be a teacher one day?.... interesting thought)
Anyway, I anxiously await the school supply lists that come out. I love traipsing the aisles to check off our list and more. So, when they start loading the aisles of Target in July with folders and such, I am there. :) I know. I'm a dork.
So needless to say, the girls have all their school supplies by now. But Brenna still needed a backpack this year. Different school, different arrangement and setup and what not. This year, no lunch box, but a backpack is needed. So, on top of the other fun supplies to get, we got to pick out a backpack too! (Brooke's using the same one from last year)
And, Ok...who are we kidding? Its a dolled up $5 backpack from WalMart. Seriously. I wanted a small one for her and the 'small' ones they make for preschoolers equates to not sturdy. They are flimsy and cloth and the straps are stringy. So I found this one at WalMart, perfect size and it was only $4.88! Yippee! I took it to a local embroidery shop and had them put her name in 'rainbow' colors real cutesy and add the butterfly for a girly look and voila! Cute preschool backpack that's actually her size yet still sturdy! Love. :)
(sorry, not the best picture, but you get the idea. And you KNOW I'll be taking some cute back-to-school pics later you'll get to see more of it in)
