Together Again!

Actually the night of July 4th, we got to meet up with some long lost friends!  They were coming into town from a move nearly two years ago out of state for a wedding and were spending a few days in town.  This was Brooke's longtime BFF (literally...not just slang!!) that she was devastated about moving away.  It had been two years since they saw each other almost and I wondered if they'd still be the same.  I mean, that's a long time in the life of a 7 year old?!  But, wouldn't you know...they picked it up right where they left off, giggling, chatting, playing..BFF's.

That picture says a lot.  I haven't seen Brooke THAT happy in a while.  She loves Trinity and misses her a lot.

We spent as much time as we could with them over the next day or so that they were in town.  First, meeting for lunch with some other friends...  (every picture you see Brooke and Trinity huddling together no matter who else is around)...

Then we had lots of playtime at the house, complete with the traditional dressup and dancing routines.  Just like old times...

Even Bailey got in on the action - maybe not by his choice, though... hahaha!

The same old pink couch these two have been sitting on since they were about 15 months old!  Awww!!  Such memories!

Then later, we met up for dinner with some more friends.  And Brenna fell in love with Sofi.

Then, we were headed out of town as they had a pool playdate with all the friends.  (hence Brooke not being in a bathing suit)  But we did stop by to say 'hi' and 'bye', as they would be leaving before we got home.

It was so much fun for us to see these guys again after so long!  Brooke really misses her BFF and its so nice to see that they still get along have so much fun together.  Hopefully we'll get to see them again before too long!
