Random-ness

Brenna brought home some fresh broccoli from her garden at school the other day...

She didn't want any part of it, but Brooke did! She has her own garden at school as well, where they had done a taste testing at school of several different vegetables and broccoli was the one she liked (who IS this kid? And what have they done with Brooke?!?!).....

Brenna had picture day at school last week. As much a poser as she normally is, she would NOT smile for the photographer. She talked to him, was polite, but any time he got near the camera, she became stone faced. Ugh. More on that later... but. I later snapped this picture of her leaving Brooke's piano lesson in the outfit she wore and she looked oh-so-cute. :)

Also last week was the 100th day of school. I guess that's some sort of cool milestone they 'celebrate' now. So along with the treats and crafts they had that day, when Brooke walked into the doors at her school, she had to walk through this set-up.

Brenna has taken a new liking to fixing her own hair. Many times, she ends up with a 'do' like this... (and thinks its awesome, so just humor her if you see her out somewhere like this)....

Sleeping children are always adorable, right?

And to include an animal member of the family for this post, here's Barkley.....who I think is so cute when he sits (lays?) with his legs crossed like this (we think he might have a British heritage :P) ....
