Little Belle Camp

Last summer, Brooke did Little Belle Camp. Its a 1/2 day, week long camp that the local drill team puts on. She loved her time last year! They made crafts, fed them lunch and snacks, taught them a couple of dances and more! Not only that they get a Tshirt, a trophy (which Brooke thinks is just awesome), a ribbon, and a picture taken in the Bengal Belle outfit. So when she wanted to do it this year, we wavered, mainly because she didn't know anyone doing it. She had no friends going that we knew of. Also, we missed the sign up. Then all of the sudden I realized it was starting the next day and wondered if they took walk ins. We got up super early Monday morning (drop-off was b/w 7:30-8! :O ) and went down and sure enough, you could still register! So she got to participate again this year!

And this year did not disappoint. Even though she had no friends going in, she participated well and made at least a couple friends within her small group. She also knew a few kids that were in her big group that we didn't know would be there. So it was really fun for her!

Here are some pictures taken from the week. Each day before pickup, the girls would put on a little show (usually 2 dances) dividing up by grade level (to be... sooo, Brooke was in the 1st/2nd grade class). Her group was by far the BIGGEST group out there. So most of the pictures aren't good and honestly, I could never really actually SEE her perform there were sooo many kids! But she had a blast and that's all the matters right?

Brenna enjoyed watching too and can't wait to participate "when she is 5 years old". She watched so much that she even learned some of the dance moves that she likes to show off at home now! LOL

Then, at the end of the week, on the last day, in the evening, they put on a show in their camp Tshirts and are awarded their trophies and ribbons. Despite me pleading with Brooke to get in the front, I still couldn't see her very well and so, again, the pictures (and video) aren't great. But again, she loved it. Here she is leaving the house...

She really had a lot of fun and is already talking about how she can't wait to do it again next year! :)
