Back to School Bash

The other day one of the local nursing homes put together a Back to School Bash/Carnival. They had games, dunking booths, bounce houses, pony rides, train rides, snow cones, and more! And it was all free! So fun. This is the same nursing home that we went to last Christmas to deliver some Christmas cheer. You can go back and read about that here if you are interested.

Anyway, Brenna wanted to dart straight to the ponies. But first we conned her into doing a train ride with her cousins first.

Then we couldn't keep her away from the ponies! She rode each one at least twice and kept wanting to ride again and again. She loves it.

Brooke, though, chose to spend her time hanging with Chad, jumping in bounce houses, fishing for candy and school supplies and playing other games.

But before we left she did finally get on one pony and ride around once. Can't say she liked it, but she did do it. :)

The girls had lots of fun! So glad we got wind of this event and go to go! :)
