A lot of my post titles are songs. Its what comes to my head when I think of a post. Sorry. Its just me. So if you don't recognize the name of the above song, google it. Its a kids song.
But anyway, we did go to the animal fair! There were some birds, not too many beasts. And that's only if you count chickens/roosters as birds. :) The local library has fun summer reading events every week starting in June. Last week, a carnival (we missed that). This week was an animal fair. Lots of fun petting-zoo type animals. Brooke re-connected with an old friend from church and they are (re?) becoming fast friends. She's such a sweet girl, the parents are our age (which is hard to come by, being older parents and all), and she has the same nature as Brooke - very shy, reserved, timid. So they are great friends and enjoy each other's company, even though Jordyn is a year older. I hope to have many more fun times with her this summer!
This was the first. We took Jordyn with us to the animal fair at the library and then out for lunch and back to the house for a playdate. It was a fun day!
The horses were ok....until the train came by and they got spooked.
The alpacas were definitely the favorite. Maybe cuz they were so friendly?
Free popsicles are always good! (note to self - bring napkins or wipes next time. 99 degrees + popsicles + slow 3yr old eater = big mess!)

the birds and the beasts were there......the old baboon, by the light of the moon, was combing his auburn hair!
I remember that from kindergarten!
