Funny girl

Brenna is so freakin hysterical sometimes. As I said before, she is so hard to describe in words. She is constantly doing or saying things that make us crack up. She is wise beyond her years in her humor at least. She 'gets' things that Brooke doesn't. She cracks jokes that make us all laugh.

Anyway, so hard to put into words. But I'm going to try. To here, describe two instances that made us laugh the day before.

1) So, the other day Brooke had a little tiny scratch on her arm. She put a band aid on it. Then, when it was time for the band aid to come off, she FREAKED OUT. Not even close to exaggerating. Insert your wildest dream here of how badly she overreacted and it was twice as bad. She was screaming and screaming. Brad was sitting at our dining table. Brooke was trying to hide behind the refrigerator and Brenna was standing equidistant between the two of them watching the whole thing go down. Brad was trying to coax Brooke to come to him so he could take the band aid off. Brooke was screaming uncontrollably. Brenna was watching. After a few moments of this, Brenna scooched back towards Brad's "side" of the kitchen, crossed her arms, and gave him a sideways look/glance, shaking her head and shrugging her arms. "What are we gonna do with her?"

2) Scenario set up: since the bathroom remodel, a lot of the bathroom fixtures and such are still in our garage, including the toilet.

As we were driving home from school, the girls were playing sort of a "I Spy" game, but their own version. Brooke would say, "I'm going to look for a ........ yellow car. Oh, look..there's a yellow car!" Then Brenna's turn. Brenna would say, "I'm going to look for a .......... blue car. Oh look..there's a blue car!" Then Brooke, "I'm going to look for a ...... black mailbox. Oh look...a black mailbox!"

You get the picture. This game continues all the way home. When I hit the garage door opener, and as we start to pull in the driveway, it was Brenna's turn. She says, "Ummm....... I'm going to look forrrrr ....aaaaaa...........white potty. Oh look! There's a white potty!"

LOL I sure hope that made you at least smile today! Cuz this sweet girl makes us smile every day! :)
