Haircuts all around!

Both of the girls' hair was getting really long. Brenna's doesn't always show it since hers is so fine, but I bet hers was longer than Brooke's! So we all went and got haircuts yesterday....myself included!

This was Brenna's first haircut, so it was a little bit monumental (hence the reason for taking the camera of course!). But she handled it like a champ...didn't even need to watch Brooke first or anything. She enjoyed sitting in the car chair and watching TV the whole time!

And she got a lollipop afterwards...always a good thing. :)

Brooke has had many a haircuts in the past and wasn't too keen on the idea of getting a trim. But I assured her we were only going to get it evened up, the dead ends trimmed off. I didn't want to get it chopped off just yet since she has dance recitals and such coming up. (I usually wait for that till the summer ;)

So, since I was with Brenna watching/monitoring, Brad was with Brooke watching and monitoring...well, sort of. Then after Brenna was done, I went next while Brooke was still in the chair. Then while I was finishing up, Brad took the girls to the car. When we got home is when I noticed it. Yea. "It." The big screwup. Her hair was a good 2 inches shorter on one side than the other. Gasp!!! I was already not too happy with my haircut (its ok, just a little choppier than I wanted). But Brooke's. Oh, Brooke's. It was really noticeably off. Even she said something about one side being shorter. :(

So, off we went this morning first thing to get it fixed. Of course, the only way to 'fix' it is to cut it. So, she ended up with a shorter hair than we really intended. She's a bit disappointed and I was a lot disgruntled. At first the lady was shocked that she was the one that cut it like that (yea, it was that noticeable). Then when I assured her that yes, she was the one who cut it, she didn't say much else. Till the end when she tried to explain it away by saying she cut it rounded or something. Yea, whatever. :/ But, what can you do? *sigh* It'll grow back I guess....
