Christmas in the Park

Every year, one of the local City parks puts out a pretty large light display and one weekend a month they provide free hay rides, entertainment, visits with Santa, hot chocolate and cookies. All free! We usually try to make it out at least once, but this year, Brooke was part of the entertainment! She got to dance with her dance class at Christmas in the Park this year! She was sooo excited for it. And has been talking about it for the last two months I swear.

Here we are arriving a little early and doing the hayride, visiting with some of the characters walking around and more...

Then the time came for Brooke to meet up with her teacher and class to get ready to dance! We love love love her teacher this year, Ms Katy (seen in picture below, holding sign). She is so great with them...she's a little bit hard on them and expects a lot, but is really teaching them a lot! And they love her just the same and really respect her. However, I'm so sad, that Ms Katy is moving to pursue an internship. I hope her replacement does as good a job as she did. :)

And of course, we have video! Brooke did great. Its amazing to me how extremely shy she is, yet how she does soo well at performances. So weird. But anyway, she did great. She was just beaming up there, as you can see in the video...(and the beginning starts off shaky and windy, but it gets better quickly.)
