The First Harvest

So I took these pictures last week and am just now getting around to posting them. Oh well. By now, the harvest has tripled at least. But you get the idea.

I took this first picture so you could see how crazy tall my tomato plants are! They are taller than me, but I needed a model...so I used Brooke, a normal 5 yr old. The tomato plants go all the way up to the top of the stake that you can see there...they are just not all tied up yet in these pics. :)

Here's my two sweet girls helping collect tomatoes and potatoes and more...

I only pulled up some tomatoes and onions because we needed them for dinner. So this batch is from one potato plant. They are still kinda small, but not too bad. And they were some of THE best potatoes I've ever eaten. Seriously. And I'm not a potato connoisseur by any means.

Here's one days worth of tomatoes...again, the first day. Now, we've quadrupled the amount of tomatoes. To the point, I'm giving some away already! Craziness. Every year I plant less tomato plants than the year before and I keep getting more.
