On Saturday, we hosted a potluck dinner for some good friends of ours that will be moving away to Montana in a one short week after graduations. Some of her (the mom's) closest friends came to bid them a farewell. Brooke only has had two very close friends her whole life....one of which is Sierra, who is the one moving. I think its finally starting to set in that they are moving...like far! As much as it can to a 5 year old anyway. ;) There are times when she tells me that she will be sad..like when she is at the splashpad wishing Sierra would be there, or at school missing Sierra, etc etc. But then she is quick to remind me that they will be back when she is 8. (they plan on returning after a few years) Anyway, we are all close friends with their whole family. Even Brenna is really starting to be attached (and talk about) Sedona a lot more these days (their youngest), so it will be hard for all of us to see them go. :( I think I am still in denial. I'm just going to pretend they are still right around the corner the whole time. Ahh...gotta love Facebook.
Anyway, so here are a couple of pics from their going away dinner. I didn't want to post all the pictures of the other people's kids and families since I don't have others' permission. But I do feel ok posting pics of Sierra, Sedona and family...since they blog as well. ;)

Is it wrong that I'm still focused on how fantastic that cake was? Really, it was such a great party and a wonderful way to say goodbye to some really fantastic people. We're really going to miss them too!
We will miss all of you too!! Crossing fingers and toes and doing everything I can to make that extended vacation down here in the fall!
