Kindermusik finale

Brooke had her final Kindermusik class today for Young Child I. Next year she will finish the very very last Kindermusik class ever! (Young Child II) She started when she was 6 months old and hasn't missed a semester at all, even going some summer sessions! This was the first certificate she received over the course of all her completed classes. That made Brad very happy. ;)

Anyway, over the course of this year, they have learned 5 notes I think? Both to read, write, sing, and play on their glockenspiels. They also learned several (5 or 6?) songs and are able to play them proficiently on their glockenspiels. Next year, they continue by learning the dulcimer and recorder and more notes! As a final treat for the parents today, they put together this performance of an ensemble playing one of the songs they had learned to play on their glockenspiels. This was especially different since they normally don't 'play' these instruments you see them using here....

Here is a picture of Brooke with her teacher, Ms Borchardt (formerly known as Ms Chris). We're kinda sad because throughout her entire Kindermusik education she has had Ms Chris, however next year she will have a different teacher. (Ms Chris does not teach the final class) So this was her last class with Ms Borchardt. :(
And holding proudly her certificate and balloon (from the last day of class)...

Also, a separate picture of her in church on Sunday singing a Mother's Day song "I am a Blessing". It was only the young kids this time! And this was the only picture I snapped.
